i choose the first question.
ReplyDeleteAmir's relationship with his father is unhealthy, they are distant. On some aspect their relationship just depend on the blood, nothing more, they just live toghther.
For intance,Amir lined to his father only because he want Baba himself that it is a luxury for Amir to own his father.Besides,on page 17,'it wasn't often Baba talked to me, let alone on his lap'; when Amir asked Baba quetions, Baba just grunted twice as he was preparing his speech.Additionally,on page 18.'i was always learning things about Baba from other people'.And Amir always ate dinner alone, Baba did not come home until after dark. The place they live can be called a home. All above indicate that Amir and his father are distant.
I choose the first question.
ReplyDeleteI think their relation is close and health.
We see that Baba built the aorphanage.I think he loved Amir very much.He knew Amir was lack of mother's love and he didn't wanted other children like Amir.So he built it.It demonstrated that Amir played a significant role in his heart,so he paid much attention to the feeling of Amir.
In the chapters of 3&4,we also could see Baba often talked with Amir and tanght him some essences of living.Maybe Baba was not a humourous people, but he loved Amir very much in his own way.
