Amy's topic and thesis statement

My topic is the different and similarities between Amir and Hassan.
Thesis statement:
The different characteristics between Amir and Hassan are obviously because the religion and social status. However, they share some similarities at the same time. They are brothers and the same blood in thier body decide that they connected with eachother tightly in thier whole life.

    Amy - good start to a thesis! You are going to examine religion, social status, and your third could be their families OR how they relate to each other.... Decide what you want the third to be. With religion you can also include some similarities (they are both Muslim, just different kinds). You can go into a great deal of depth on any of these areas.
