Amir and Hassan relationship:
In order to chapter 5 and 6 it seems Amir and Hassan was friend but their relationship carried a little envious and jealous which was served by Amir. Although Amir had a good living life situation but he was always offended because of his father respect and care about Hassan. Like when Amir said, “Baba never missed Hassan’s birthdays.” Or when baba wanted to buy a kite for them Amir stated that I never change my mind because he knew if he change his mind and want better thing baba would buy it for Hassan too and he mentioned, “I wished he’d let me be favorite.” These two examples show Amir's envious feeling about Hassan which is not good at all.
Since you said that "Amir's envious feeling about Hassan is(was) not good at all", do you still believe they were friends?

Most of the children and maybe I can say most of the people in this universe have a friend and they are jealous to their friend...
